Tips on Applying
False Eyelashes
Though the kind
of full lashes
are easier to
apply compared
to the
individual
eyelashes, it
does not look
more natural to
look for the
wearer because
of its
thickness.
Individual
eyelashes
require a steady
hand and a lot
of practice for
it to be applied
on the eye at
perfect
location. Here
are some
possible tips
that may help
you on applying
false eyelashes.
False eyelashes
are usually
applied on after
applying the
eyebrows and the
foundation. As a
guideline for
the false
eyelashes, you
need to draw a
steady line
above the lash
line of your eye
for concealment.
You can use a
black or brown
eyeliner pencil
but if you want
a smoky effect,
you can combine
both colors.
In preparing
your false
eyelashes,
always take note
of the width of
the lash bands.
If needed,
shorten them
accordingly to
the width of
your lash line.
You can either
use a pair of
scissors or just
snipped out the
outer edges to
achieve your
desired width.
Flexing your
lash bands can
be helpful as
well for your
eyelids to be
conformed to it.
Once your have
applied the
false eyelashes
on your lash
line, use a
toothpick to
help it dabbed
on thin line of
the adhesive.
Allow a few
seconds for the
glue to become
tacky on the
lash line. Once
it become
tackier, press
on the lash
bands from the
inner corners of
the eyes going
to outer corner.
As much as
possible place
the lash bands
closer to the
natural lash
line.
