Spicy Fish Curry

Ingredients:-
 

1 kg Fish (Fish like Mackeral or Salmon)
1 medium Onion, finely sliced
1-inch piece Ginger, finely sliced
1 Green Chili.
Grind to a paste:

10 - 12 dry Red Chilies, lightly roasted
6 Black Peppercorns
1 tsp Cumin Seeds, lightly roasted
¼ tsp Mustard Seeds, lightly roasted
4 Garlic cloves
2-3 tbsp Grated Coconut
1-inch ball Tamarind
¼ tsp Turmeric Powder
2 Cloves
1-inch piece Cinnamon Stick

Method:-

Heat oil in a shallow pan and fry the onion till translucent.

Add the ground masala and fry until well-browned

Add the green chilly, ginger, water and salt to taste.

Once the gravy comes to a boil, add the fish and cook on a medium heat for 15 minutes.

Serve hot with steamed rice.
